Mary Jane Murphy - Vice President - Equity Marketing Communications Manager

Mary Jane (MJ) has been with Merrill Lynch since September, 1999. She currently supports the Equity Award Services section of The Retirement Group at Merrill Lynch as the Equity Marketing Communications Manager. Prior to assuming this role in January, 2006, MJ was an equity plan Client Relationship Manager focusing on the administrative services for Fortune 500 clients and their participants. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 1999, she worked for The Chubb Corporation, a property and casualty insurance holding company based in Warren, NJ from June, 1976. From June, 1997 until September 1999, MJ was an Assistant Secretary of the Corporation in the position of Stock Plan Manager and Benefits Accountant in the Compensation and Benefits Department where her duties included management of all stock-based employee benefit plans including the Long-Term Incentive Plan and Employee Stock Purchase Plan and accounting for the Chubb Capital Accumulation Plan (401(k)) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Prior to 1997, MJ worked in the Corporate Secretary's Office for 20 years, wherein she served as the Assistant Corporate Secretary from 1984 until June, 1997. Her duties included the preparation of all meetings of the Board of Directors of the Corporation and all of its US subsidiaries, Section 16 Compliance Officer, Transfer Agent and Shareholder Relations Officer, and preparation and delivery of various SEC reports, including Annual Reports, Proxy materials and Registration Statements.

Mary Jane holds a Series 7 Registered Representative license and is a Founding Member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.
